All Angels’ Children’s Ministries create experiential ways for children to access faith and experience God. We value children’s relationship with God, involvement in the life of the church, and growing relationships with one another. We desire to pass the faith on to our children.

On Sunday Morning mornings, Children’s Ministry offers three programs:

Nursery care is available for children aged 6 months through the 3rd birthday from 9:45am until 1:00pm. Trained nursery workers and parent volunteers create a safe, warm, nurturing environment for these children during morning service.

Children’s Worship is offered during the 10:00am service for children aged 3 through 5th grade. Children begin the service in the main sanctuary with their parents. After the Gospel reading, children are invited to a specially designed time where sacred stories, parables, and liturgical stories are brought to life in the style of Godly Play. This story telling invites children to wonder and respond to the stories at their own developmental pace. Children rejoin their families in time for Communion.

Sunday School runs from 11:45am until 12:45pm immediately following the morning service; a light lunch is served. Children from preschool to 5th grade are invited. Sunday School connects the content of the faith to our liturgical and community life as a church. Bible quizzing, scripture memory, and story telling shape our understanding of God. Games, clubs (like Acolyte Club and Missions Club), and crafts connect children to one another. Pageants and special offerings give children a chance to lead in the church. Over the course of the year, Sunday School focuses on themes like: prayer, how to worship, the Church, Communion, an in-depth look at the Lord’s Prayer, Bible stories, and a manuscript Bible Study.

Special Events occur throughout the year for children, families, and their friends such as a Christmas Pageant, Making the Ashes for Ash Wednesday, an interactive children’s Passion Play, Easter Egg Hunt, Pentecost Celebration, and many more.
