Laundry Love: Love your neighbor...by doing their laundry! Join us on Saturday, September 23rd from 8:30am-11:30pm in Palmer Hall for a morning of free laundry service. In addition to providing care for those who are struggling financially, Laundry Love is a great way to begin friendships and network within our neighborhood and city. Intentionally Interact with Youth this Year! This Sunday, (9/24) at 9:00AM Trevor and Lindy are hosting a Youth Volunteer Launch in the Gallery on 3rd floor. We’ll discuss God’s call to discipleship, serving our youth, and practical and easy ways to connect with youth. Attending does not commit you to anything so feel free to show up and check things out! Registration closes this Monday (9/25) for All Angels’ Feast Day & Parish Weekend, Sept 29 - Oct 1. Celebrate our feast day, the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels’ with our church family in the city! We’ll be welcoming special guests, our new interim pastor Jim King and his wife Sheila from the UK, along with our speakers the Rev. Christopher Leighton and the Rev. Gabrielle Beam. It will be a weekend of worship, dynamic teaching, celebration, food and friendly (or not so friendly) competition at our Ping Pong Tournament and Epic Lip Sync Battle. Emotionally Healthy Relationships, Oct 3 through Nov 28 (skipping Oct 31), 7-8:30 PM, led by Christine Lee and Mary Ellen Lehmann. Join us for an 8-week discipleship opportunity to grow in our skills to love others well. The class will be a combination of teaching, biblical reflection, skill development, large and small group communal learning, and contemplative prayer. The total cost is $35. Faculty/Graduate Students Prayer Group - September 24th: Please join fellow faculty members and graduate students as we pray together about our work, the particular work/faith pressures we face in academia, and our universities as being places where God's glory can shine. Meals Ministry: One of our love languages at All Angels’ is food. Join the meal ministry and provide a meal when a need arises. An average time commitment would be giving a meal once every couple of months. Email Kerry Salvatierra (kerry.salvatierra@gmail.com) if you would like to participate.

Got soap? The Community Ministries shower program needs travel size soap, shampoo, lotion, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Outside of All Angels:

Homelessness and Mental Workshop: Thursday, October 5th at 7:00pm Hosted by the Rescue Alliance, this workshop will dive deep into the experience of our homeless friends with mental health needs and learn more about the resources and services available to help. TED-Talk style presentations will be given defining the problem, offering solutions, and outlining opportunities to engage in service and care. Speakers include Laura Mascuch, Executive Director of the Supportive Housing Network, Rob Deguzman, Director of Program Effectiveness at the Bowery Mission, and Josiah Haken, VP of Outreach at New York City Relief. Ongoing Events

House Churches are geographically based small groups where relationships are built and we connect around Scripture, prayer and worship. They start up again this month, so much sure to check out the House Church page under "Ministries" for dates and times. Contemplative Prayer Group: Sundays 9-9:40am in the 3rd Floor Gallery. All are welcome as we pray using Lectio Dinva, Ignatian Gospel contemplations, or Centering prayer/Christian meditation to listen to God's voice and rest in God's presence. Contact Jen Knight (732-648-7297).
